After 50 years and 3 dentists, I finally can wear a bottom partial. I finally can chew food on back teeth. I had 2 partials made by other dentists and both of them ended up in my dresser drawer because I could not wear them without having pain. I heard about Dr. Pendleton from a close friend and decided to see what he could do for me. I was extremely surprised with the time he took consulting with me about what I wanted and the time he took with me with each appointment. He made me feel very comfortable and he was always concerned about how I felt during a procedure and how things were going inbetween visits. I have and would recommend Dr. Pendleton to anyone. He is great. One more thing I feel extremely happy about, he fixed my two front teeth that had started to chip and were jagged. Now I can fully smile again without feeling embarassed. I like how Dr. Pendleton is always running on time, I never have to wait long, if at all, once I enter the waiting room. In addition to being extremely nice and personable, Dr. Pendleton is incredibly thorough with my teeth and has all of the latest dental technology at his fingertips. I can't remember the last time I've had a cavity or other problem with my teeth, and I owe most of that to Dr. Pendleton's care. And he's great with kids... mine don't dread going to the dentist like I did when I was younger.

For anyone looking for a dentist, I’d send you to Dr. Patrick Pendleton without hesitation. The basic care of plaque removal, cavity repair, fluoride treatment, and strengthened gums is expected quarterly. When improvement is needed, the workmanship is first class. Included is a cancer check around the jaws and neck. For major replacements, such as bridge work, he has top of the line materials and labs, who make sure everything is perfect. All is done in pleasant surroundings! The creativity extends to all areas of his life – music, professional organizations, travel, and his family.

I was referred to Dr. Pendleton by a co-worker after I had explained my last traumatic experience with the most recent in a long line of bad dentists. I knew I had to have a problem area checked out and my co-worker raved about Dr. Pendleton and his entire office, so I tried. I immediately felt at home with the staff, and I explained my past history with dentists to Dr. Pendleton and my fears and concerns; he listened and then explained to me his methods and immediately put me at ease and reassured me he would not cause me any pain. After being true to his word, I was a permanent patient. That was five years ago. I have gotten to know Dr. Pendleton and his staff over the years, and I feel like part of their family. I have been Dr. Pendleton's patient for many years, since I moved to the area in 3rd grade. He has been with me through cavities, chipped teeth, crowns, and root canals. In that time I have moved away for college, stayed away for graduate school, and finally returned to Chicago 4 years ago. Even though having a dentist closer to where I was living would always have been more convenient, I simply could not imagine finding another doctor who truly cared about his patients as much as Dr. Pendleton does. The office staff were always particularly accommodating in helping to schedule my appointments during a holiday break. I have never doubted Dr. Pendleton's expertise or commitment to his field, and have been particularly impressed by his constant willingness to go above and beyond at every opportunity. I distinctly remember, following a dental procedure, receiving a voicemail on my cell phone from Dr. Pendleton checking to make sure I was feeling ok and letting me know that he was available if I needed anything. And to think it was a Sunday! I have had nothing but exceptional experiences with Dr. Pendleton and his office staff and plan to continue going there for years to come!

Dentists in Ancient Egypt commanded immense respect and their practice was limited to royalty only; however in Dr. Pendleton's office, it is the client who receives the respect from the moment of entry where cordiality is the order of the day. Once in the treatment room and settled into the chair, professional care combines with genuine friendliness and expertise to solve almost any "tooth issue" that exists. However, the best thing about the whole practice (other than the cute kid pictures), is that all appointments are on time unless an unforeseen emergency developed. Professionals who respect a client's time are worthy of inordinate respect.
